In 2013, designer Handan Anlar founded Home & Loft bringing with her a long and vibrant resume in New York City’s retail industry. With a keen eye for textile design, she pairs the sophistication and edginess of the city with materials that evoke the comfort and coziness of home. Her line of artisan made luxury textiles are hand loomed using only the purest of materials - cotton, linen, and wool. Each piece is expertly crafted with both form and function in mind; introducing rich artisanal tradition to the modern market.
Home & Loft partners with artisans in developing areas to invest in and support the ancient weaving tradition. We seek out unique fabrics, soft textures, and lasting materials while creating sustainable partnerships that empower both artisan and consumer. With each piece made and sold, we stay true to our core values: ethical, sustainable, and authentic craft.
