This neoclassical kit features a lions head door knocker, a common architectural element in Northern Italy particularly in Venice. You can spot thousands of beautifully patina'd door knockers, still in use, all across the region. This design pays homage to my ancestry and draws reference from a lions head door knocker drawing my Great Grandfather made before he immigrated to America.
