Umber & Ochre
S/S Kabir Shirt in Dot Block Print Indigo
It all starts with a dot. One of the most fundamental elements of creation, we found inspiration from the elemental dot and set the same in a repeating stripe pattern. This block print is created using a traditional process of resist dyeing using mud printing in Dabu and dyed in natural indigo.
Modified with shorter sleeves, our classic Kabir button-up has special stitching details that enhances its overall style. Standard fit, spread collar, corozo buttons and use of selvedge throughout.
Kora is one of our signature handwoven fabrics using our regeneratively grown cotton harvested with Raddis as part of our Seed & U program. Kala cotton is a short staple and indigenous cotton native to Kutch, known to protect against the harsh heat while also possessing insulting properties in colder climates. It has a soft hand, a relaxed look and feel and is ideal for the summer weather.

Produced in a limited run with exclusive handcrafted fabrics. Due to the nature of the print, each piece is unique. Indigo dyeing is a special process that also requires extra care. Indigo bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments and after several initial washes, the color will stabilize. Over time, the natural and graceful fading process results in a uniquely personalized piece.
We recommend hand washing separately in cold water using natural detergents and drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are designed to last when treated with care.
