Using my own tile patterns are a starting point, I've recently been creating the tiles in wood and using those to block print. The color palettes are developed first but I mix while I'm creating each painting.
As with all the tile paintings, the colors are vibrant and if you have any questions I can email you a simplified palette. These are one of a kind, block printed paintings.
