With the same great fit as our Kabir classic button-up shirt with the addition of two front chest pockets. Made for everyday wear with special details that enhance its overall style. A wardrobe staple, its handwoven and naturally dyed fabric lends itself to a relaxed look and feel. With a standard fit, spread collar, bone buttons, and use of saddle stitching and selvedge throughout.
For selvedge lovers, this shirt is a real treat as its interior enhances the use of a selvedge finish throughout. Cleverly designed, the back pleat highlights the selvedge as well as the inner cuff panels, button placket, and side seam gussets.
MATERIALS + PROCESS
Handwoven on a traditional foot pedal loom that creates a unique and unmatched texture. Its hand-spun yarns are naturally dyed by hand at a family-run workshop using natural minerals and plants.
Kantha embroidery is a traditional craft done with a running hand stitch. Designs can be complex or simple. We took a clean, modern approach with kanthan stitching along the sleeve placket.
