Ebonized Dining Table by Pierre Gautier-Delaye

z
z

Pierre Gautier-Delaye was one of the great French modernist designers. Like Pierre Chapo and Le Corbusier, he worked with Charlotte Perriand. This table reflects a definite Japanese influence. The legs flare almost imperceptibly and while the profile is strongly rectangular, the outer corners are softly rounded. The middle interstice is a bold design stroke. We think the ebonized surface is perfect for a display of collected objects, beautiful books, or other treasures.
