All dyeing, weaving and sewing takes place at our NYC studio. We use dyes from nature; including but not limited to indigo, cochineal, turmeric, avocado, acorn, hibiscus, and madder root.

All of our products are made in small batches from natural materials making each piece unique. Please embrace the subtle differences in color and pattern.

SSEN products are not guaranteed against natural wear, fading, finish and dye-lot variations. Because we do not use chemicals to secure the dyes, darker dyes can transfer onto lighter fabrics with heavy friction.

The pillow inserts provided are expertly filled with 95% feather, 5% down, covered with a top quality, 233 thread count fabric. They are made of 100% Cotton, with downproof stitching, to prevent feathers from poking out. Feathers are RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified.
