NYH began as a sustainable wood mill in 2011 though quickly transformed into what it is today: a solid wood furniture studio focused on impeccable craft and circular design.
Having produced our own lumber and slabs, NYH additionally consults and works with residential and commercial clients to transform onsite trees into finished furniture - clarifying the designs, overseeing the milling and drying to produce the needed materials, then creating finished furnishings and surfaces to be returned to the site so the trees may live on in new form.
Order Cancellations & Refund of Deposits: Due to the custom nature of NYH products, orders can only be cancelled prior to the start of the manufacturing process. All cancellations must be in writing. If in its sole discretion, NYH chooses to refund a portion of a sale, the customer will be charged for all work completed and all materials purchased to date plus a 25% processing fee.
Returns: As each of our pieces are made to order, NYH permits returns of unused and/or non-custom orders solely for vendor credit.
Change to an Order: Any changes to the original order are to be in writing. Once NYH begins the manufacturing process the cost of the changes will be based on a 25% change fee; the cost of labor and materials purchased/processed to date; and the cost of any additional work and materials needed.
