After flicking bronze glaze onto a few platters and bowls, it occurred to me how much the pattern the flicks made reminded me of bird eggs - the patterns reminded Danny of a bird called a Thrush). Esther Lamps already had a lovely egg shape so it seemed obvious to go ahead a flick some bronze onto one and see what happened. We loved it!  So we made two.

• The bronze speckles are combined with our snowflake glaze for a soft satin finish
• Danny turned the walnut necks and finial, then added the nickel hardware
• We are using our signature boucle shade which adds a soft texture to these mid-century modern-inspired lamps
• Specs: All lamp components are UL Listed
• Maximum 60 watt bulb.

About the Glaze: We developed our own glaze recipes and mix them in small batches regularly. There will be variation. You may see some organic specks on your piece, we do not consider these defects, just part of the handmade nature of our work.

Handmade Means: There will be variations in color and size. No two pieces will be alike. There may be some imperfections but we only ship items we feel are perfectly imperfect.

Everyday Luxury: Our ceramics are handcrafted from durable, high-quality porcelain glazed to over 2200 degrees. Our glazes are food safe and lead-free. We make our tableware and accessories to be used and enjoyed every day.
